Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) is one of the eight Subsidiary Companies of Coal India Limited (CIL) which is under administrative control of Ministry of Coal. The Company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 has its registered office at Coal Estate, Civil Lines, Nagpur–440 001.

THE CHALLENGE

Lack of the connectivity to new locations and hence the purpose of the project was to build the wider array of network and provide the customer with complete connectivity throughout so the communication is much easier and work is done more efficiently

PREVIOUS SYS

The previous system was already existing of the WAA Wide Area Network to Establish the WCL Network to the Regional Area Manager Office. They wanted complete visibility and connectivity of 32 locations to their regional centre.
