Our company is looking for a Government Business Development Executive to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals from government-owned entities or government-run agencies or GeM portal. Duties will include identifying sales opportunities, seeing that our company if qualifies for the sales opprotunity bids for it successfully. BDE will also prepare necessary documents and files to submit in given time. Co-ordination within time, client and our suppliers will also be required. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process, and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage. Previous experience in government bid submissions also is an advantage.

Responsibilites:

Sujata is into IT hardware and software sales, BDE is expected to identify opportunities to sell Surveillance, IT hardware and software in the projects being tendered by the government clients. Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings. Searching and keeping a track of tenders that are going to come out or have already come out. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives. Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities. Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones. Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events. Developing quotes and proposals for clients. Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met. Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills. Managing bids to be submitted on GeM portal (Government e-marketplace) Submit weekly progress, opportunities and leads reports and enter data within the company’s CRM software

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, distinction, from a top tier college and university, preferably in a sales, marketing, or business field. Excellent analytical and communications (oral and written) skills. Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure and with deadlines. High degree of attention to detail Public speaking, research, and writing abilities Market knowledge and meeting sales goals Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe PDF and Microsoft/Google Suite products. To be flient in Hindi/Marathi and English

Salary:

Min 20,000 / As per industry standards
